About Bullitt Wheels Style
The Bullitt Wheel has a long history and past and maybe even a controversial one at that. The original Bullitt Wheels were claimed to have been something of a trademarked product by American Racing and wheels such as the Torq Thrust that have been out for ages do seem to resemble the Bullitt Wheels. One thing is certain and that is the fact that these rims have one of the most popular vintage style wheels for the Ford Mustang body style.
Ford Motor Company obviously took notice to such a design and as such you can buy an authentic Ford Racing Bullitt Wheel. The Wheels you see on this page are not to be confused with Ford Wheels and anywhere you see a Ford Racing Bullitt Wheel, its always going to have the aforementioned Ford Racing somewhere in sight. Ford wheels such as the Bullitt are registered trademarks of Ford Motor Company/Ford Racing. Therefore when you see terms such as "Bullitt Style" it is simply referring to a style you see any wheels all over the country by many different makers.
Many other wheels have the Bullitt Style to the design and this can be seen with the enormous amount of manufacturers that quote make these so called "Bullitt Style Wheels". What else can you call it right! They are everywhere and you see the generalized design in many other rims such as the Foose Legend and Boss 338. In our opinion this specific design permeates American Muscle and although it might be argued where the origins really came from, theses wheels scream serious retro styling!
