  • When working with electrical components, sometimes things don’t always work the first time. Having a test light or a volt meter handy can take a lot of head scratching out of the equation.

  • If you plan on using angel eye or led accented headlights, and you want to be able to REMOVE your headlights again, we recommend using male/female spade connectors between the harness and the headlights.

  • Most aftermarket headlights are well constructed from the factory. However we recommend using clear RTV silicone around the perimeter of the seal, were the two halves of the headlight meet. This helps prevent condensation with in the headlamp assembly.

  • If at all possible, heat shrink every connection. Even crimped connections, use heat shrink. Also on the back of the spade connectors, use heat shrink as well. This prevents any type of condensation from entering the connection and causing corrosion. A quality job on wiring is worth the time for the longevity and less problematic connections.

  • When installing new bulbs or removing existing ones, try not to touch the bulb itself with your hands.

  • If something doesn’t work the first time, don’t fret, typically it’s not the product, but a bad or wrong connection.

  • If something doesn’t fit right the first time, don’t force it. Something is off or miss-aligned. The tabs and the housing itself are plastic. Yet durable, enough force will break any plastic product.

  • After installing any new headlight, it is always a good measure to check your headlight beam locations. You can adjust your headlights yourself, or outsource them to a local shop or dealership.
