Ford Mustang Ram Air Hoods are much different than traditional hoods. First it's important to understand today's aftermarket terminology when referring to "Ram Air". Some of our hoods are very functional and include internal routing of the air to the vehicles air box. This isn't a literal interpretation of Ram Air (forcing air) into your Ford Mustang's throttle body or upper intake manifold. Rather it insinuates in most cases that the cooler incoming air in being routed over your cold air box and as such should lower the temprature of the incoming air.
