When you purchase tires with your wheels at Cruizin Concepts Wholesale you get:
The first thing to consider before making your tire purchase is performance. You may notice that many of our more inexpensive tires have great tread life rating. This is due to the tire having a harder rubber-compound so that the tread will last longer. However, on the flip side of things you will also notice that on our more inexpensive tire the ride quality and traction ratings go down. When a tire for example has an extremely hard rubber-compound this will undoubtedly effect the ride quality. Moreover, the rubber-compound in the same way effects your performance. The softer the rubber compound the better your traction and performance.
Second is ride quality... If you want good ride quality you are going to sacrifice some longevity and tread-wear for the softer ride. The softer the rubber compound the better the ride quality! Moreover, with a softer compound you also get better traction, better handling and a much safer ride. Generally, you can spend the money and get a good balance of both. Toyo has been one of the best selling tires in the country for six straight years because there tires have a very good balance of longevity and performance.
If tread-life is one of your main priorities then you may want to run the same series tire on both the front and rear in order to rotate the tires front to back. Something one must consider also when running the same tire in the front and rear is "how good do you want the ride quality to be"? The ride quality will be much worse on a tire that has exceptional tread life. Keep in mind if you choose a tire that has fantastic tread life that means that it uses a very hard rubber compound which reduces your ride quality. Sumitomo and other lines have a relatively hard rubber compound allowing it to achieve decent tread life ratings but at the same time the ride will never be the best...
